Watch To Learn About The Micro-Organizer
You prefer to keep only what you need and display it in an attractive manner. You like to organize everything down to the nitty gritty aspects, so that each room, dresser, and drawer are perfectly immaculate and you can find exactly what you need when you need it.

Organizing for your own future convenience is a great skill to have!

But when you’re looking through a magnifying glass you often miss the bigger picture. What can start as a great moment of motivation can turn into an unproductive hour spent on lining up pens by the order of the rainbow in your office. Then when you take a step back, it seems you’ve made no progress because all your hard work was tucked away into a drawer! Something for you to practice is focusing on making a visible result in the bigger scheme of things.

Organizing Tips Tailored for The Micro-Organizer
Â
A good place for you to start is to evaluate the true importance of items. Just because something doesn’t fit into your current idea of organization, doesn’t mean you should discard perfectly good things in haste to avoid perceived messiness. Embrace a “good enough” mindset, and move on to other tasks quicker instead of focusing on small, individual projects.
You can begin practicing this by setting a timer for yourself and a goal of how much you wish to accomplish by the end. Keep in mind the idea to sort first and make pretty later! Sometimes our visions will come to life once we’ve got the general idea down because we can always go back to adjust things later. It’s just important to get it done in the first place!
If you can’t let go of the will to organize every little thing, consider containers with more sections. Look for attractive products that will fit into the space you’re working on, and label everything. The more you categorize and label the easier you will still be able to retrieve the items when you need them.
Be careful not to throw out other people’s belongings without permission – remember, not everyone organizes the same. It might be easy for you to discard something but to someone else that item may be of importance or hold sentimental value. Focus on your big vision for the room and just work towards making the overall space more like what you imagine. Don’t sweat the small stuff first, save the finishing touches for last!
